Back pain

Back pain, found before it is treated.

Long flights, scooter hours, surf wipeouts, desk marathons. Modern life collects backs in every state, and rubbing the sore spot rarely fixes the reason it is sore.

Why back pain keeps coming back

You rub the sore spot, it feels better for a day or two, then the pain comes back. That is because the sore spot is usually not the cause. Somewhere nearby, a joint has gone stiff, and the muscles around the sore area are working overtime to cover for it. Until that stiff joint moves again, the pain keeps coming back.

How we assess it

Before anyone treats anything, we measure. Computer-guided scanning tests how each level of your spine responds, one by one, and puts the readings on a screen you can watch. Hands-on testing and posture analysis fill in what instruments cannot see.

How we treat it

Treatment is gentle, specific chiropractic care aimed at the segments the testing identified, with instrument-guided input where precision helps. On later visits we test again and compare against your first readings, so whether things are changing is something you can see on the screen, in your own numbers.

Common stories we hear

“Every morning I wake up stiff. By noon it eases, and the next morning it is back.”

“Sitting is what sets it off. Long days at the desk, long drives, flights.”

“I tweaked it surfing months ago and it never fully settled.”

“I have had this ache for years. It has outlasted three massage packages.”

See a doctor first if your back pain follows a hard fall or accident, comes with fever, numbness around the saddle area, loss of bladder or bowel control, or unexplained weight loss. Those signs need medical assessment before any chiropractic care.
